This web page features the typewritten transcription of the survivng copies of the Harrington newspapers. Harrignton handwrote The Young American from January 1858 to December 1858. Eight issues survive out of the original twelve. In addition, Harrington handwrote The Nation, a semi-weekly, from April 17, 1858-September 8, 1858. Sixteen issues survive out of twenty-one.
