The hunt is on for Qadhafi's billions politico.com

As Muammar Qadhafi’s 42-year hold on Libya comes to an end, new questions are being raised about how much he stole from the country — some estimates put the figure in the hundreds of billions of dollars — and whether the riches can be recovered.

“We’re talking in the range of $240 billion to $250 billion,” Dr. Mansour El-Kikhia, the chairman of the Department of Political Science at the University of Texas at San Antonio, told POLITICO.
