I’m no prude, but I can’t refrain from commenting that sex has been rearing its ugly ahead with relentless regularity lately. What used to be referred to as moral decay has accelerated to a commonplace in public life. Suetonius, who wrote The Twelve Caesars profiling Imperial Rome’s early leaders, would blush if he were around today. Not even Caligula’s alleged exploits match the episodes of indiscretion reported today.
