Former Pilot Intern Seeks Backers for Documentary Film thepilot.com

excerpt
Many of you may remember Jack Dodson, who was a recent summer intern with us.
Recently heard that Jack is doing great and is working on a documentary film about health care in India.
Below is a letter from Jack about the project.
If you don't remember the great work Jack did, check out the links to a story that are in the letter below.
Dear potential backer,
Around the world, quality health care is a privilege, something largely unattainable to those who live on less than a dollar a day.
This is especially true in India, where state-run hospitals are frequently understaffed and underfunded. Private facilities are top-tier, but out of reach for the poorest classes.
India's health care situation has lessons for those of us in the west, since we're struggling with bringing health care to all of our own citizens -- and this brings light to some solution. In India, alternative systems implemented by nonprofits and social businesses try to create models that bring health to all the people of the world.
I am hoping to tell a powerful story of a few organizations that are attempting to solve this problem.
